It was a question overheard in a crowded room.
At first, I almost laughed. The idea felt completely absurd. Artificial Intelligence was something we created, wasn’t it? A machine. A tool. A very smart and revolutionary, but a machine nonetheless…

And yet… I didn’t laugh. Something made me pause.

I do not know whether it is. Neither does anyone else if we are being completely honest. But the question would not leave, and would not let me dismiss it, and eventually I had to write it down.
